We decided that she is old enough and we will be staying home enough to attempt potty training for real. We have had the panties and the potty for almost a year and have worked on it a little at a time so she is used to the idea.
We told her the night before last that there where going to be no more diapers except for nap and night time. Then in the morning when she got up we put her on the potty (she did not go at that moment) and then put on training underwear which we call big girl underwear. She used the potty three times. She did go through a lot of underwear but it was good progress for her. She actually tells us that she peed her undies which is great!
Now we are hoping for more progress today.... we shall see!
